I’ve been part of a writer’s room working on this project for over a year. It took us that long mostly because of schedules. Trying to get six busy people in a room to develop characters, a storyline, and all that goes into an episodic series was no easy feat. But we did it and now we are ready to film this summer. With shooting dates set, most of the cast in place and crew members added everyday, we now are hoping to raise some funds to feed the 20 or so people over a span of 14 shoot days and maybe, just maybe, pay them a little bit too.
If you are able, I would appreciate your support on this project.
Six strangers trapped in a magical forest with no way out—only disembodied doors that lead into wildly different realities. To survive, they’ll have to face their deepest fears… and each other.
Literally Lost is a genre-hopping web series and a collaborative experiment. Each of its six episodes explores a different film genre—mystery, comedy, thriller, action, psychological drama, and litRPG—written and directed by a team of local filmmakers, united by a love of story and a desire to create together.
This series is more than a show. It’s a community project, born from the nonprofit POV Filmmakers , designed to give indie creatives in the Portland/Vancouver area real experience on a working set. We’re making this project to open doors—literally and figuratively—for filmmakers who want to learn, grow, and create something meaningful together.
We’re running on volunteer power, but we still need help. Every dollar goes directly toward paying and feeding our cast and crew, these wonderful, creative people who are giving their time and talent to bring this project to life.
Thank you for partnering with us as we tell this story—and for helping build something bigger than just one project.
