I am so happy to share that the first submission for my latest Screenplay – A Superfluity resulted in an official selection at Portland Under the Stars Film Festival The festival will be on August 14-15th at McMenamins Mission Theater in Portland, Oregon. Last year Almost Boston won Best Keep Portland Weird film award so I am thrilled to have another project at this festival.
I plan to have a full reading later this summer and then fundraising to film soon.
A trio of elderly nuns threatened with the sale of the convent and living out their remaining years in a nursing home, find another option when their handyman comes up with a scheme to sell the convent and abscond with the money. Embarking on a journey to a new life, they are met with disaster, thievery, and Jesus.
